On Tuesday we had our second girls club at New Hope Center. We had 18 ladies including pregnant girls, ones who already have babies and helpers. We had a guest speaker talk about basic care for babies and we had some food.
After the guest speaker we took the three girls who are due very soon, did their hair and make-up and had a professional photographer do a maternity photo shoot for each of them.
By the time we get back in January, at least two of these girls will have had their babies so we'll see where the club goes from there! There are still a couple who are due in spring so I'm sure the meetings will evolve to accommodate all the different stages these girls are experiencing.
