Last Week - Oh My!!

This week is Practical Prep week!! Week 8!! We can't believe it went so fast!!
This morning was our last Trained by Jesus session with Steve Klassen so we celebrated Trek style - by having Chai tea - Steve K's special! I also went down to the kitchen earlier than usual and baked some banana chocolate chip muffins for the occassion. The passage we studied today was Mark 14:1-11.
This afternoon we had some people come in from Drime (disciples ready in mobile evangelism) to come and teach us a few drimes (plays set to music). We learned 2 that will hopefully be useful seeing as how we don't speak the language in Ukraine and these are word-free!! The rest of the week is ESL teaching classes and more preparing to go stuff. Friday night we have a Commissioning Service at 7 pm at CBC so if anyone wants to come you're more than welcome!

Hey, we'd love to be at the service on Friday, but that will not be possible. Have a good last week, hope you can keep up the blogging in Ukraine. Love and prayers from Dad and Mom

Hey guys, hope your last week is all that it's cracked up to be...preparation and readiness! I can't wait to hear about your adventures once you step into Europe. The Lord is with you, just remember to let Him lead....praying for ya!

You know I am not sure if I am familiar with that passage. Is that the one where Jesus tells all to eat banana chocolate chip muffins? If you could clear that up for me I would really appreciate that.

Yeah, he gets annointed with banana chocolate chip muffins and chai tea. It's kind of a big deal.

It must be getting really exciting at the Mark cottage, what with only a few days left till take off.
Oh, Todd, scholars have just recently discovered that the food that was miraculously supplied to the Israelites in the wilderness wasn't manna, but in fact bananas. Something to do with the Engligh translation.
