Support Letter

Greetings Family and Friends!
It is with great excitement that we announce the next adventure that God has called us to! We have prayerfully decided to travel to Spain this coming January to intern with the G42 Leadership Academy where we will be discipled and trained to become missionaries!

What is G42? G42 is a network of Christians with the mission to plant churches and ministries to spread the Kingdom of God around the world; to inspire and develop leaders who are passionate about the poor and laying their lives down for Christ.

Why training? We believe that God has called us to Spain so that He can pour Himself into our lives so that we can be more in tune with Him wherever He leads us next. We believe that the more knowledge and intimacy we have with our Heavenly Father, the more prepared we will be to teach others the way to salvation through Jesus Christ.

Why Spain? G42 is based in Spain for a few reasons. Many of the people attending are from North America which is filled with distractions, materialism, and consumerism that we as a family deal with every day. Secondly, G42 is a global organization and Spain is a central location for ministries across Europe, Africa and beyond.

How long? We will be in Spain from January until the end of June. There are two terms separated by a two week break. During this break there will be a practicum to connect with a missionary organization in another country.

How much? For an individual the training, room and board cost approximately $1000 USD per person, per month. Because we are a family we have been advised that we will need to rent an apartment nearby to the school. The school itself will be $600 USD each a month and we have been told that apartments, depending on the size, are approximately 600 Euros per month. We are anticipating the total cost to be around $15,000 for the entire six months.

Prayer Requests: This is obviously a very short amount of time to raise a large amount of money but we know that we have a huge God who can do anything. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and we know that He can sell some cattle and send us where He has called us.

We own a home. We can’t possibly maintain our home, pay our bills and go to Spain at the same time. We are asking for prayer for someone to live in our home and pay those bills while we are gone.

Faith. We know that this is where we are supposed to go but the steps to get there in our hearts are huge. Pray with us that as God has proven Himself faithful, so we too will be faith-filled, bold and intentional about living our lives for Him.

What Can You Do? Pray, pray, pray. To have the love and prayer support of so many family and friends is the most important thing to us.
