Just Youth - October 25

We had our October Just Youth event this past weekend with another crowd of 70+ people.

The band from Molochansk was back with some new songs for us:

We started incorporating a few new ideas - one from the New Hope church service where we invite anyone who has had a birthday recently to come up and get a gift (chocolate).

We had some fun new improvisation skits this week - each volunteer from the audience was given a prop and then a ridiculous scenario in which to use their prop. 

Steve brought a message on relationships (mainly dating relationships) and how decisions we make today in our current relationships affect the future. He also spoke on the importance of keeping God at the center of our relationships and he told our story which was a fun surprise for me. He usually reads his sermon to me in the week before but this time he didn't!

While we are in Canada we are still hoping that there will be a November Just Youth event run by others. We are working on setting that up before we go because we want it to continue to gain momentum even while we can't be here. Please keep that in your prayers!
