Baptisms

At the beginning of the month our friends Igor and Tolik were baptized. These two guys grew up in an orphanage and after graduating from there, moved into New Hope Center's group home. They lived there for 2-3 years, all the while having Christian house parents who they attended church with, attending our Monday supper clubs as well as many other interactions that lead them to accept Christ as their personal Saviour. We have gotten to know these guys the most in the last year and were beyond excited for them that they made the decision to be baptized. They attend the Voz Rozhdenya Baptist church that Steve has preached in a few times and is the most connected with Young Life so we knew a bunch of the other people who were baptized as well.

Steve hired Igor for the summer to help out with all of our summer camps and activities so we've gotten to know him even better over the last month and it's so exciting to see the changes in them as they grow.
