#JustYouth: August

On Saturday we held our monthly #JustYouth event. We decided that it would be great to have one final big party to end the summer so we did a beach party. Someone warned us earlier in the week that it would be too cold for a beach party.....yeah it was +30, so we were fine. 

Two friends of ours did some water games - balloon and shaving cream fights and then a slip and slide.

As usual Steve shared a message with our translator Olya.

 He shared about how going back to school is a fresh start to be a new person and how Christ can give us that fresh start if we choose Him. We had about 40 people and even some new faces.

We finished up just as it was getting dark.

We had a fantastic summer and met lots of new youth which is exactly what we set out to do. September is usually quite a quiet month - all of the teenagers are back in school and getting back into routine so there is usually a lull in ministry before we start up old ministries or try some new ones.
