and now, the Rest of the Story

Wednesday after the teams were announced we took team pictures. This was our favourite out of all of them but I highly doubt it'll be the one we use to send out to people.
Team Ukraine is as follows:
Left side Top to Bottom: Steve, Travis, Jo
Right side L to R: Joel, Kristine, Daniel and Petra
I personally have learned one Russian question and answer - What is your name (kak-vas-e-ya-voot), and the formal response (men-ya-se-ya-voot Joanne). I feel quite fluent.
Today we had sessions till the normal time (3:30 ish) and then we loaded up in the vans and headed for Vancouver to Mission's Fest. Tony Campolo was speaking and he was really good. We hung out at the MBMSI booth and feigned interest at other booths to get the free pens. The way back to Abbotsford definitely involved Slurpees.
Tomorrow morning at 9, the Amazing Trek starts, which is an Amazing Race-type game that we're playing in our teams. The winning team gets a $50 gift card for each person, so that would be kind of nice. We'll see tomorrow if having an extra person is a help or a hindrance.
