The Meals Today were Awesome
Today being Tuesday, we had work duty in the afternoon! Unfortunately it was snowing all day so we had to be inside the MBMSI office stuffing envelopes. I think they want us back on Thursday because there's only 4000 more to go!!! It was fun for about the first 2 hours, but that 3rd one was very, very monotonous!!
Some of the girls made a snowman at lunch and after we returned from envelope duty, the boys took it upon themselves to destroy it.
After supper was free time so Steve and Dan Bergman set about making a village of snowmen. This is the path to the treehouse where the shovels and other tools live.

And this is the finished product. I think the purpose was to build a village of snowmen and then film a godzilla reproduction, but it got late. And the snow is melting at a very rapid pace so I don't think they will still be there tomorrow.
*This is a little sidenote pertaining to the book we told you all about called "Intercessory Prayer" by Dutch Sheets. We are required to read this book and Steve read further than I did. He felt what we were reading wasn't Biblical and was actually very much the exact opposite. We prayed about it and had confirmation through prayer and then we got Erin to look it up and she found more information about it that also confirmed we shouldn't be reading it. Although still being unsure about whether or not to continue reading, God sent us a loud and clear message through Matt's blog comment yesterday saying the exact words that confirmed it to us without him even knowing about our situation. God truly does work in real ways in our lives and we ask that you pray for wisdom and discernment as we bring this up with the rest of the team.

Nice snowmen.
Those snow men actually look like zombies and the pool was there grave. I being a big snow man movie critic don't think godzilla would have worked. Great try. So what's the deal with this book?
did you bring up the book situation with the leaders? What happened? WHO'S ON YOUR TEAM?!?!?!?! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!??!?!

Hey Steve! Laurence from FS here. So I have been reading your blog on a regular basis and find it awesome. Looks like the two of you are having a great time! Question-the book they gave you to read "incessery prayer" I think is what its called. What made you say "wait a min I don't think this is right"? Well have fun :)
Well good to have you following Laurence! You can look it up online and there are some pretty accurate descriptions from other people that I felt as well. But the general gyst of the book is that God needs us to pray in order to release His power. Biblically, God is all-powerful and can do whatever he wants whenever he wants and doesn't need us for that power. The Bible basically says this almost everywhere but a good passage is Acts 17:24-25. That's just ONE thing that I noticed is wrong with this book and many more things can be said with a lengthier conversation. I also missed telling you the most important part - in a short version, God gave me multiple signs that I shouldn't read this book. Thanks for reading and keep commenting!!! It gives us encouragement!
